The US only usually send an Envoy, as they did yesterday.  Biden' wife was just an extra & could attend because she's not the US President.  She probably fancied a weekend away from sleepy Joe & a bit of shopping in London?

I never said it was a snub by the US.

I'm ambivalent about religions, and the monarchy, but I must say I have more in common with the peaceful, happy throngs who engage with such stuff, than the malcontents, protesters, looters and defacers of art, statues, and the ones that shut down public highways and institutions, in an attempt to bully the general public into supporting their often whacky gimmie me causes.

 

It's not like they don't have the same vote in a democracy as anybody else, but they act as if they do!  It's the old commie 'some are more equal than others' claptrap.
