Reason I asked is when I updated my details to my new address (a few years ago now mind) my card was rejected at my local shop but worked OK on PayPal. HeHasRisen Posted April 12, 2023 Share Posted April 12, 2023 (edited) Changing your address at the bank shouldnt stop your card working physically, in a shop. Have you actually tried doing this? Have you tried drawing money out and using cash? If your bank has a block on your card, erm ring your bank up? Changing address shouldnt block your card for use, its a simple admin change. As an aside, this is why people shouldnt put their eggs in one basket and only have one way of accessing funds. Either have a second debit card, a credit card, or keep a pot of physical cash aside.
