A retreat is essentially time away from our everyday lives, whether we need a break from work or the children, or are recovering from a break-up or a personal loss. It's a break, with the church it can be to discuss spiritual topics, or if you go with a partner it can be bonding, the atmosphere is peaceful and the staff look after everyone.
