Junk Shop Idea For The Moor

Recommended Posts

they are thinking of turning  the  1st floor of debenhams into a second hand shop ,if no one takes it on in the next month, sounds very exciting does it not? put us right up there with leeds and manchester .a crafting centre is another idea ,but scc markets may not agree to that.thought the moor was supposed to be a better quality area,it wont allow market traders ,yet a second hand shop for the top of the moor?

You do realise that the owners of the building can choose whoever they like to rent to, dont you? Assuming the owners of that building are NOT the same people who run The Moor, why are you even trying to connect the two?

Anyway, someone on here has been adamant for months that what the City Centre needs is a flea market, isnt this the same thing....

Where have you heard this?

There is a planning application to open a St Lukes store at the bottom of the Moor, in the old Brighthouse store. Maybe someone Geoff is getting a bit confused.

page 3 top corner states it could be a market or second hand furniture shop, but i expect its better than being empty, but i thought the city centre where going for nice trendy shops like leeds, manchester, but we will see what happens.
