Cat S Cars

Category S, or a Cat S, is a term used to describe a vehicle with "structural" damage. This means that the damage is severe enough to have affected the structural integrity of the chassis, or other structural elements of the vehicle.

I personally wouldn't risk it.

Is a Category S car worth considering to buy

You would have problems insuring it as they are notified about all  Cat S cars.

I have insured one although it's not easy.

There are many cars scrapped and wasted like this although they sometimes don't have real structural damage.

You need to be very careful. The shell may have flexed/distorted when the door was pushed in.
