That sounds terrible, i'm getting visions of rats running all over the place. Surprised the neighbours haven't kicked off about it, wrote to the local press, get them involved. Complained to the council, they have a duty to get them to clear their mess up. Still, I suppose they can't get anyone to clean the place up, rumour has it there's local small businesses been going unpaid. Word soon gets round.

A hotel incorporated within a premier league stadium shouldn’t have any problems.

You dont think that a closed down, rotting hotel, with big barriers outside it, taking up the corner of a Premier League ground, with seemingly no plan to reopen it, isnt disgraceful?

No, long time since I was down that way, see what you mean though. Whoever came up with that brainwave? Let's build a hotel? Why don't they let homeless people stay there, I know it looks like a tip but i'm sure they'd be pleased with a bit of shelter. Would keep the rats down as well

The article I posted says there was some reason they had to take all the furniture out, cant have homeless people sleeping in an empty shell, far too many H&S considerations.
