& despite not being in it for almost 25 years Wednesday have still played more games & won more games in the Premier League than United ….that’s reality as well …

Different world now,  anyone not having experienced it for 23 years probably wouldn't understand.

https://www.espn.com/soccer/english-premier-league/23/blog/post/3180115/how-the-premier-league-has-evolved-in-25-years-to-become-what-it-is-today

That article is years old but shows the changes that have taken place over the last twenty years or so. The percentage of foreign players in the Prem is over 69%.

A substantial number of Premier League players weren't born or hadn't started school the last time Wednesday played in the division. Erling Haaland is 22, Marcus Rashford is 25. Times have changed, whittering on about the past doesn't impress anyone .

Absolutely …but none will change the fact that Wednesday have played & won more games in the Premier League than United despite us not being in it for 25 years …

No it won't it's now 2023, as KP said.

Mind the gap.

Wow what is it about the saying "mind the gap" that gets the back up of some Owls on here, more posts removed, long winded nonsense full of babble posts, posters repeating the same thing over and over again. It really does get you going and I thought it was just a funny dig when I heard King Charles say it I just had to post it but I didn't expect the anger to come pouring out in bucket loads!!!

So have Wimbledon and it's just as meaningless to this thread as your post is.

That’s great… but it’s about Sheffield Football on here isn’t it …

You're the first to tell people to stay on the thread topic when it doesn't suit you, just practice what you preach and mind the gap.

Welcome back by the way.

So the gap isn't as big if you have won more games in the LGE your rival has been promoted into than they have...........Well thanks for that info I never realised that, you learn something every day on here 🤣🤣

Anyway back on track, I have been on here many years and remember when Wed were above us and "mind the gap"was used a lot on here. I said then LGE positions don't lie and whoever is highest is top dog but I also stated that things change and now they have so

Mind the gap
