And there used to be a Crawshaws (the naff one) about 50 yards from the front door. Guess what? It shut down, I think along with the rest of them. I forgot all about that store. It was no good to me as a vegetarian, but it always seemed popular. The one in Hillsborough always has a queue. There were never many reasons to be in that part of town what with it being filthy and having undesirable people, but now there is one reason less.
