You can't spot the difference because it REALLY IS THEIR VOICE,  spoken exactly as they speak, with the same inflections and mannerisms.

Maybe you should give up trying to understand something which is beyond you.

come back when you know anything at all about the subject.

Incidentally,  I thought the ITV program gave a very poor explanation of AI and concentrated too much on the daft toy aspects that some people are using it for.

They should have done far better to show how powerful,  and how dangerous it can be.

ITV will embrace AI

Most if their programs have a bunch of narcissistic robots anyway

Just look at Love Island

I fully agree and rarely watch ITV and have never seen Love Island or ANY Celebrity program in my entire life.

Celebs come across as more childish and more boring than most ordinary people.

Don't watch much telly at all because it's so dumbed down these days and they thinks we are all teenies and need everything explaining in small syllables.

There’s plenty of artificial intelligence on this thread

Agreed  -  everybody's looking in the wrong direction when it's all on here.

I also thought it could have been better, but it was only a half hour programme to get a lot of complex information across in a manageable way. I'd like to think it was enough to provoke people into doing some research for themselves.

This is wrong and you did say to tell you.  It's not automation at all.

Too difficult to explain quickly but Channel 3 Yorkshire has a program about it after Emmerdale and you should watch.

It can watch videos of people and then mimic their voice and mannerisms,  phone up  and convince a mother that it's her own daughter speaking and crying so that she believes it.

Criminals are already using it and it's  Very Very scary and that's just a start.

Would you like your own kids to phone you and leave you wondering whether it's really them or AI?

Who can we believe and who can we trust except people we are face to face with?

Just more MSM fear mongering hype!

If it is "possible" it is an "existential crisis", goes the "narrative". Must be true because it was on t' telly t'other night!

Only Big Brother can be "trusted". :)

Anybody who can't tell thee difference between a bot and a their daughter needs to get out more!

Newsnight even tried to crowbar AI into an Abba interview last night.

If youtube comments (or is it AI) are to be believed, almost everyone believes anything they see on TV, and about 20% claim it has happened to their family. But oddly no-one has been caught.

Things are shaping up nicely for Orwell's brave new world!

Trust no one and nothing, unless Big Brother on TV tells you it's so!

The experimental dry run a couple years ago, wherein the authorities managed to lock down entire populations in their flats was a resounding success.

Kept them isolated from family, friends, church, and even the neighborhood pub! They even censored online free speech! Paid folks to stay home!

Where the only"news" from the  outside World can come to you from the Big Brother on TV.

Imagine the sheer power!

"Republicans are Evil. Their supporters are fascist puppets".

And the clapping seals and other assorted government dependent sheep loved it!  :)

But there's a whole other World out there, not so easily manipulated.
