Another poor contribution from axe who's gone back to using this quote against me, when he can't think of anything to say.  STOP IT and then  I will!

What a load of sheer rubbish again.  We all learn everything from our parents until we know enough to start thinking and deciding for ourselves and then sometimes, but not always,  change course.

Everyone grows up influenced in that exact same way by their upbringing including those in conservative households.

Of course some,  like you,  never manage to get on that path of thinking properly and,  unfortunately,  silly posts like this is the result.

You keep voting conservative lad,  you're very well matched with that lot

Axe is just a troll and a mulch-tier one at that, really not worth wasting time and energy on.

So we give 6 million EU citizens the vote and then have another EU referendum

How do you think that will go?

Do you think thats fair on the UK citizens?

Is that your idea of a fair balanced democracy?

You have summed the situation up well.  It is the same Keir Starmer who wanted another EU referendum effectively without leave on the ballot paper who is now suggesting EU citizens should be allowed to vote in general elections.  Keir Starmer is the most dishonest untrustworthy politician sitting in the Westminster parliament and most certainly unsuitable to become our country's prime minister.

Probably but we need a change

The Tories have got too complacent and have essentially become Blair's Labour 2.0

They are no longer a conservative party

You demonstrate your detachment from reality by posting that whilst knowing Boris Johnson is still an MP.

Boris Johnson won a big majority at the 2019 general election because he pledged to get Brexit done.  He delivered on that pledge at the end of January 2020.  Boris Johnson would still be our country's prime minister if it was not for the pandemic and the witch hunt initiated by the disgraceful media.

Which he did not do. That's why there had to be renegotiations after he'd been ousted, culminating in the Windsor Framework.

You misspelled "his ignoring the rules he himself set and then lied to parliament and the public about". He was, and was always going to be, the architect of his own downfall.

Boris Johnson is widely acknowledged as by far "the most dishonest untrustworthy politician sitting in the Westminster parliament". That's why his party dropped him as PM and no amount of fanboy-ism from you is going to change that.

It is a fact the UK left the EU in January 2020.  The Northern Ireland protocol had provisions for renogotiations .  The future arrangements with the EU will always be an ongoing process subject to changes.

The Tory MPs made a big mistake in removing Boris Johnson as leader which played into the hands of the opposition parties.

This thread like the Covid thread is an example of people making up excuse after excuse to back up what they already have in their head.

So how should we decide who can vote, in parish, town, city, mayoral and MP elections?

In parish elections, you need to live(within three miles) or own property in the area, where you were born is not relevant.

I am guessing that elections to elect an MP, is the only election where birth place is relevant.
