What about police officers being chipped to make sure they don't bash up members of the public,  is it possible?

Part of the reason for the police wearing cameras is to provide a record of what they do as much as what the members of the public they have to deal with do. So there already is a mechanism.

Whether the cameras are consistently switched on when they should be in another matter.

There's one of the important bits..

Another is,  Can they delete a bit of film if they want to?

In some cases,  you might think it's the public who need to be wearing cameras although the riot gear could make things harder.

It might be nice if we just had a level playing field.

Haven't their been multiple local cases of cops assulting members of the public, that only came to light from third party filming? Suspensions ensued.

When i was younger if the police had to chase you then they were gonna give you a good hiding if they catch you

People respected them back then
