melthebell
So Police are searching a Portugese Reservoir https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-65673674 It begs a few questions As the daddy intimated would they waste time and resources if there was probabillity the parents were involved? Why arent they investigating the parents angle more if its possible? Surely there wouldnt be much evidence left by now? unless theres an actual burial. They're an untouchable middle class Masonic couple. so instead they spend money and resources keeping up a charade investigating reservoirs? Wouldnt it be easier just to hide it by filing it away as shut and unsolved? a lot of cases in all countries have that done

It's reported that only ONE representative from the UK police will be present as an observer as this is a German police led investigation. I doubt there will be any of the DNA of the person responsible for putting her in the water still there if she is found. The German police must have strong evidence or otherwise they would not do the costly search of the lake. If a body is found there will be ways to identity if it is Madeleine.

OK, send someone if something is found. But until then its just a waste of resources. The mirror says " presence of British officers". And why was the annual budget £300,000? https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/police-budget-madeleine-mccann-probe-28073248?_ga=2.45139811.654231954.1684841366-470431784.1684841253
