Not my cup of tea but obviously a great entertainer.

I highly doubt most people would be able to name more than two of her songs if asked, bit like Pink Floyd, folk say how great they were but can only name about 2 songs, but then say " Dark side of the moon was fantastic"

😄

Her 'Foreign Affair' album alone had sales of 1.5 million in the UK, so that would make a load of people who would potentially be able to name twelve of her songs.

Granted 1.5 million isn't "most people" though.

My favourite Tina tracks were both written by Tony Joe White: 'Undercover Agent for the Blues' and 'Steamy Windows'.

Coverage a bit OTT, wasn't really a star over here.

Also news outlets saying she was black....really? She was a heavy smoker and sun lover but that's all.

Colin Foster,  it sounds like you have been on the Fosters.  :loopy:

No chance

I own lots of albums but couldn't name all the song titles on them.

I just find that folk fawn over certain artists because they think they should and when asked to name some songs they fail miserably.

In that category I would put

Tina turner

Pink Floyd

Aretha Franklin.

Im sure most people would name most of these 10

In fact last night and today, most of my Facebook, Twitter and Forum friends have named every one of these

I’m certain that Tina wouldn’t have relished  what was likely to happen to her had she gone on to a greater age, I’m 76 next month and would sign up for an age 83 demise. I prefer to think of her back with her mates strutting her stuff. 🤙
