Sweetcheeks
In 1974 and 1975 I used to go to night school at Melbourne Avenue. It was very spooky walking up the drive to that place at night and it certainly brought back my memories of it when they caught him around there. dustbunny
in fact the police checked out the car registration first, when it came back as a false plate that is when the police moved in and then found the hammer
Thunzi
I used to walk near there everyday (on the way to KES) and had no idea that was where he was caught. Quite spooky really, one of my old friends lives at most 50 metres away.
Thunzi
in fact the police checked out the car registration first, when it came back as a false plate that is when the police moved in and then found the hammer It’s amazing how many criminals are caught in circumstances like that. For instance Ted Bundy was caught because a police officer noticed that his passenger seat was missing when they pulled him in at a petrol station (he had apparently been cruising around a neighbourhood, was spotted by the police and fled). It aroused their suspicions and a more detailed search revealed a burglars kit. They then started to seriously investigate him and found out connections to the people he murdered. hagardriley
Interesting how he was caught by a very bright copper, he was sat in a car outside glossop road baths with a prostitute with the intention of killing her and had put the hammer behind a telephone servicing box. Of course most beat coppers know who the "characters " are on their beat and he recognised the girl. He became suspicious and looked behind the box,end of Peter Sutcliffe. FICTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
