Bilge
I hope they have chucked down a few more wagon loads of wood chip and straw overnight because the mud was pretty bad. The ramp down to T'Other stage is shocking and I would guess inaccessible for many. Same goes for the toilets area by the Leadmill stage. There is nowhere to sit when it rains because even in the tents the grass is soaking wet. £7 a pint (£6.75 actually). Most of the beer seems to be Brewdog - which I've been avoiding since reports about that company. £9 fish finger sandwich (OK it's not £10 yet but nearly). Loads of rubbish bands. Everyone videoing the rubbish bands. Pyrotechnics (flares) in the tents - no-one does anything. Ashcroft whining about Covid regulations. Even more rubbish bands. I'd tolerate all of that nonsense if the lineup was any good but it's got worse over the years. That's it for me.
Tipstaff
I suppose lots of you 'old hippies' will be visiting your doctor with 'trench foot' on Monday morning after wading through the Hillsborough park quagmire? Seems like an overly-expensive washout to me. 🙄

Wouldn't be surprised to see a Tweet saying today has been cancelled. No rain now but 48 hours worth surely has taken a toll.

It would have been better to hold it in the car park at Meadowhall
bassett one
no the only perfect place ,due to site is the s6 park so says most ,but if it was big enough that area i agree meadowhall with the great tram and motorway links is a good idea, the big water park is there this year ,but that could be a winner if big enough, better than ruining our parks in sheffield. Jack Grey
A fantastic event in Sheffield and all people do is biitch and moan It's why investors prefer to go elsewhere where it's less hassle No wonder Sheffield is getting left behind by other cities when it's residents have such a bad attitude Edited July 23, 2023 by Jack Grey

How many other big music festivals in the UK are held on concrete? Genuine question. No matter what park this was held in this weekend it was always going to end up a quagmire. Hmmm... Following complaints from local residents, I've heard that SCC are now looking into the possibility of extending their maintenance contract with Amey to see if they can't tarmac over the whole park. This would also solve the parking problems on match days. Your thoughts?
