Toddlers Stabbed In France

Recommended Posts

From Four children and two adults injured in knife attack in French Alps:

Quote

He had asked for asylum in France, which had not been processed because he already had refugee status in Sweden. Because he had EU refugee status, he was free to travel legally to France.

Police sources told Le Monde that the man had declared himself to be a Syrian Christian in his French asylum application. Le Monde and other French media reported that he had been wearing a Christian cross on a chain round his neck when arrested.

So he didn't need French asylum in order to stay in the country legally because he had already been granted refugee status in Sweden.

Those getting exited about a religious motive will probably go quiet at this point.

Another report by the Beeb.

But, according to an 'expert' interviewed on Sky News, any talk of him being a refugee/asylum seeker is from the far right and racist.

It came a few days after his asylum claim to remain in France was refused.

Maybe fear of 'racism' isn't the biggest thing to take away from such a thoroughly terrifying and heinous act...

Maybe his refugee status isn’t the main thing either.

What a hideous way to start such a thread.
