How do you know immigration was people's main reason for voting Brexit? All people had to do was place a cross on the ballot paper without writing a reason for their democratic choice. The only UKIP spokesperson I remember is Nigel Farage. In fact given there are Labour and Tory spokespeople every week on Question time Nigel Farage should have appeared much more than 33 times in the interest of political balance. As well as Nuttall and Helmer, I think Douglas Carswell put in a few appearances as well as Suzanne Evans. He’s tried on seven occasions to get into the House of Commons Westy and failed each time.
