Mr Bloke
Hmmm... I'm guessing that we're NOT talking about Sistine Chapel enthusiasts here...
Thirsty Relic
Well, both Sheffield teams have had their supporters climbing the wells over the past few years, but I think we'd all rather support them at the grounds, or on TV, sat with a bottle or two on a cumfy sofa. Too dangerous to try amd defy gravity.
Hanzo
They’re well worth it. In the winter you can switch the rotation to move the hot air near the ceiling downward.
Al Bundy
Is that when ceilings go on the internet and show us their private parts for money? Edited June 12, 2023 by Al Bundy

Baron99
Well I sealed 2 Wednesday fans behind a wall in my cellar a while ago. That seems to have gone well.
spilldig
A good idea I reckon and cheaper than air con.
HeHasRisen
Just now, spilldig said: A good idea I reckon and cheaper than air con. Have had a office fan running at home the last few days and looking at my Octopus output data its using less than 0.04kwH per half hour, so a very cost effective way of keeping cool. I imagine ceiling fans wont be using much more than that, essentially its the same concept (a motor turning a fan)
