geared
The main storm front seemed to dump most of it's rain over the South and West, some smaller areas of rain up North but nothing like the sweeping wall of water that cruised across other parts of the country. Ghozer
Had hard, heavy fast rain... for about 30 seconds yesterday (Monday) afternoon, then nothing..... If a weather front comes from the West, we're often protected by the Pennines, annoyingly Edited June 13, 2023 by Ghozer

That's happening more often now, government need to pull their finger out and get some new reservoirs constructed, as well as fix the millions of leaking pipes... there's one at the top end of East Bank Road where it meets Hurlfield Road that's currently on it's third or fourth leak in the exact same place 🙄

In which time they have paid £65,000,000,000 to shareholders - enough to fix a pipe or two I reckon.
