Where's The Rain

Recommended Posts

Had hard, heavy fast rain... for about 30 seconds yesterday (Monday) afternoon, then nothing.....

If a weather front comes from the West, we're often protected by the Pennines, annoyingly :)

11th of May according to Paul Hudson...

I've watered the garden today, be an hose pipe ban soon.

That's happening more often now, government need to pull their finger out and get some new reservoirs constructed, as well as fix the millions of leaking pipes... there's one at the top end of East Bank Road where it meets Hurlfield Road that's currently on it's third or fourth leak in the exact same place 🙄

Responsibility for water infrastructure was transferred to private companies 34 years ago. In which time they have paid £65,000,000,000 to shareholders - enough to fix a pipe or two I reckon.
