If you're talking about the death penalty I agree, I don't believe it's a deterrent at all. And it's barbaric However I'm all for America's huge sentences as it essentially removes the criminal from the public space. Tipstaff Posted June 15, 2023 Share Posted June 15, 2023 Thankfully, we don't have the death penalty anymore. Surely, the debate should be about life sentencing. Life should mean whole life (without parole) otherwise why a 'life sentence'? Our Criminal Justice System is a joke in this regard and should be looked at properly again.
