We all know full well that the authorities can do more or less,  as they please, and often do,  when they're taking time off from breaking the law themselves.

Because you don't notice any strange behaviour,  makes no difference whatsoever, To Anna, me, or anyone else.

Everyone does as they choose, as always.

Do we?

Maybe you don't but many of us do, realise that the authorities do exactly as they please when it suits them.

You perhaps think that they stick to the letter of the law and that's fine.  No one want's to change your belief.

There is a hell of a lot of paranoia on this forum. It can't be healthy.

Maybe Anna can tell us how her pension is paid to her.

leave me to worry about my health.

Anna should tell you to mind your own business or pick on a man to ridicule.

I notice you never even do it alone, but always along with a partner.

Another point is,  if people are in any way paranoid, that's not your business either.

Why not just discuss the subject without belittling people ?

I've noticed that too, Mr Risen!

Some people have even gone as far as setting up their own fan clubs... :hihi:

I am aware that in many cases, individuals or groups within 'the authorities' push or pass the boundaries of their remit, for various reasons,.

I certainly don't think they stick to the letter of the law, or their remit, as has been clearly shown in another topic on this board, so your assumption is, as is often the case, incorrect.

In other words,  you do agree with the first line of my post.

As I said,  even if you didn't, we can still differ.

Some people have done a lot of posting remarks that are completely unconnected with the subject being discussed.  Yours is one.

It's a discussion forum ad NOT a popularity contest.

Any observations  on the discussion ?

One of the first things police do when trying to trace / track a person is monitor their credit and debit cards. Companies also collect all sorts of data from them and use it as most benefits them.

Banks can also freeze your account or debit it at will.

It's well known.

They also get things wrong and make mistakes.

It's happened to me when I was miles away from home. If I hadn't had cash on me as well as well as cards, I wouldn't have been able to get home.

Nothing conspiratorial or tin hat about it.

If a bank freezes your account what are you going to do when you need more cash.  The government are not going to tell people where they can and can't spend money. It would be bad for the economy. I think the business owners/CEOs would kick up a stink as well.  Police and others can also track your internet usage. If you were really that concerned then you wouldn't be posting on an internet forum.
