The American system was notable for being able to detect a Soviet Submarine off the coast of Norway, from their base on Barbados. Suspect this incident will a) kill the company, and b) kill the industry (if there is one?) stone dead if it results in the deaths of 5 people. We supposedly have all this surveillance and tracking stuff that can detect a pin drop on the moon, yet when it could be really helpful - nothing.
