It’s a similar cause though isn’t it. Both clubs are in a bit of a mess off the pitch. Its a good job that last season was good for both, on the pitch. And whilst he wants out, he’s not going to invest. He clearly hasn’t got a buyer, so it’s into the Premier League on half a shoe-string I’m afraid. Not great. 1 minute ago, Prettytom said: I know. Sheffield football feels a bit tin-pot right now. I don’t think either of the two clubs are looking at a great season ahead.

Being a Prem side is the reason you don't have to, you can't compare two.

Baron99
Obviously, one of the numerous reasons for increases in ticket prices is the contribution they make towards players salaries. With the silly money of the Premiership, this is probably less of an issue but for the lower leagues, surely it's time to introduce salary caps for a each division? If, as some on here are pointing out that the likes of DC need to get real & understand that their fan base is primarily working class with limited disposable money to spend, surely it's also time for players in the lower leagues to also get real. I reckon anyone playing in Div 2 could easily get by on £500 per week after tax?

I'm not condoning our ticket prices but it's hard to compare yours with ours when you have had alot more money coming in than us.

Surely the obvious solution to Mr Tuna's cash flow problem would be... ... for him to sell Mr Barry "Premiership Quality" Bannan to Man City for about £50 million?
