I can't believe how much airtime this story is getting

I guess it's a convenient distraction from the real issues

It's mental.

Anyone would think he had butcherd a load of young kids rather than paying to see a few pictures of a 17 year old, allegedly

I'm not even sure a crime has been commited

Is it against the law for a man to ask a 17 year old for naked pictures?

It's certainly frowned upon but is it a crime

I believe it is.

Yet, 1 second later when they turned 18 it would be legal.

But a man can have sex with a 16 year old.

Again it's frowned upon but not a crime in the UK

Surely asking for naked pictures is not a crime if you can have sex with them

It's a very odd law.

Yeah it most countries it's 18 years old

But on the other side of the coin....16 year olds are not really children anymore

I believe that 16 year olds who commit serious crimes should be sent to adult prisons

And Labour want to give them the vote and allow them to chop off their genitals so the left think they're adults too

And that's exactly what the Murdoch empire wants, which it's why it's been running campaigns against the BBC for such a long time.

That was my first thought.

In this day and age of readily available porn on the internet, why would someone pay that much money for pics?

I heard that the young person in question is male, and we know that if some people aren't out of closet, and married, they could become vulnerable to blackmail.

Well, if that dinosaur took over it'll be even worse!

I agree with the sums of money- must be more to it- the so called 'victim' bribing the older bbc employee, who knows?!

Sometimes it's just easier to get out in the open, if it's about a person's sexuality.

Now they may have created more damage, and their life will become like a roller coaster.

It's all about the money

This is them trying to get more cash from the situation

And the fact that they went to The Sun should be an indication of their motives
