I thought the point of a shopping centre is enhanced facilities compared to the High Street. Because there is a million mile difference between a large out of town shopping mall and the small precinct in the middle of the city centre. Besides, there are toilets available in Waterstones, Costa, Starbucks, Subway, Sheffield Plate, Terrace Goods and The Museum. There is also a disabled toilet in the back lobby behind TK Maxx. Given that a vast majority of its footfall is coming from food and drink vendors these days, it is hardly short on provision. It was reported some time ago that one of the main catalysts for closing its previous public toilets was because they were constantly being abused and vandalised by the people using them. ukdobby Posted October 10, 2023 Share Posted October 10, 2023 Went into town yesterday and there is a lot of work needs doing down there,half the units are closed but they do each have a resident in the doorway.
