Just as the West was determined to destabilise the Middle East in the early years of this century by fair means or foul, (and they succeeded,) I believe we ourselves are now under attack with propaganda and fake news, often generated online by AI, leading to the fragmented, dissociated, polarised society we have become. I have never known people so miserable and cynical as they are at the moment. Everyone seems to have an axe to grind as the old familiarities of life have been eroded, along with simple pleasantries and kindness. The Chinese introduced Tik Tok for this very reason into the Western world, it another platform designed to create division. The West is becoming a laughing stock and is becoming prime for being taken over, not just yet but within 50 years because the majority are too busy trying to get likes to ease their fragile egos to notice what's going on.
