They are well funded by various donors Aileen Getty being the main one if memory serves. I understand they have their 'expenses' paid by the group although I'm not 100% certain of that.

There is more than enough of both. we need the investment in our water and we need to wean ourselves off our reliance on oil.

If we do it properly, all our energy needs can be met without using fossil fuels such as oil and gas and the use of those can be cut to a bare minimum.

If we could harness the hot air coming from those who want to keep the internal combustion engine,  we would be totally independent on fossils.
