King Charles to receive huge pay rise from UK taxpayers | King Charles III | The Guardian My own view is that in the current climate of many in the public struggling, if true this huge rise will be seen as unnecessary and insensitive. Reading that report, these are 'projected' figures for two years hence. As usual, a selective headline. Fortunately, The Guardian does acknowledge that, but way down in a long report.
