Strange how no one ever see a ghost wearing a tracksuit and trainers

Or in motorcycle leathers and helmet

Ghosts are always wearing clothes from Victorian times

They're as varied as people's imagination.  They do tend to see lots of ghosts wearing long robes, capes or dresses standing next to  curtains though.  And they're usually seen at night, or in poor lighting where there are lots of shadows.  Funny that.

You can conjure up anything from random noise, particularly if you couple an active imagination and a predisposition to believe (conspiracy theorists see more ghosts than average) with things that we all have: an unreliable memory and a brain that fills in the details and conjures up meaningful patterns where the available visual information is poor.

My father saw the ghost of his mother the night she passed away, wearing 2000s clothes.

I nearly forgot. The telephone box at Castle Square, outside the Gloryhole bar is said to be haunted by a wartime woman, who was blown up whilst using it. It is said her sould went in to the machine. Don't ask me how when it's a fairly modern telephone box....Mr Dreadful's wife said people have heard her speaking when they lift the receiver.

I've had similar thoughts like that Jack..

It's always a Mad Monk or Knight in shining armour or a King or Queen.

You never get a Plumber, Bricklayer, Bus Driver, or a Postman.

If you want to do a bit of haunting, it would seem you have to meet a certain criteria.

Like someone with status or a member of the Hierarchy.

It seems that even in the afterlife there remains class distinction.
