Organgrinder is right.

Human-made air pollution in the UK causes roughly equivalent to between 28,000 and 36,000 deaths every year.

ONS:

One death in England and Wales in the period 2001 to 2021 had exposure to air pollution (International Classification of Diseases, Tenth revision (ICD-10) code Z581) recorded on the death certificate.

No death registrations in Greater Manchester in the period 2001 to 2021 had exposure to air pollution recorded on the death certificate.

Air pollution: applying All Our Health - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

In the UK, air pollution is the largest environmental risk to public health.

The annual mortality of human-made air pollution in the UK is roughly equivalent to between 28,000 and 36,000 deaths every year.

posting the source of made up figures doesn't advance your argument, you'll be quoting Khan next. Is there a stat on deaths from pictures of wedding cakes.

ONE death this century.

I wonder how many die from being stuck in an unnecessary traffic jam

Of course.

However what we do know is that pollutants in the air - such as ammonia and nitrogen dioxide cause people to have deaths earlier than they normally would.

They're not made up figures. Not only are they published by the DHSC, but the World Health Organisation recognises the impact of air pollution on early mortality.

The one death you've quoted is that of a death where the Coroner put pollution as the cause of death on the death certificate.

What we know is that chemicals such as ammonia and sulphur dioxide build up in the body, and cause long term damage.

There was no geographical limitation to your statement about zones.

Ok, yes, the reservoir is empty, you won, something something pledges

And there never will be.  Life's too short to waste time trying to educate fools.

I've told you the actual figure, why are you continuing to suggest some made up figures are accurate
