Padders
Well that's my boozin session over for tonight. But sometimes I like a packet of crisps to finish of with. Chuffin ek, Walkers salt-n-vinegar crisps, etten um in 57 seconds. Their thinner than my wallet, you need a magnifying glass to spot em. Whats's going on? A packet of crisps was a nourishing meal to finish a night of with. Not anymore, This nowt in em, Your thoughts.
Tipstaff
I agree Padders! I used to like the Smiths ones years ago with little twisted blue paper pinches of salt in. I'm sure it will be EU regulation 007 1/2 or some such nonsense that did away with the wholesomeness of our snackings. I eat the Walkers 'baked' crisps nowadays, as they seem to have less salt etc. and are supposed to be less in other harmful contents too? Anyway, I now prefer them to regular crisps which are so thin these days you could read a newspaper through them.
Tipstaff
I always keep a small pork pie handy in the fridge, for emergency use. 😄

As for Willy's suggestion of Melons and Grapes, you'll never get a hard man like me eighting them after 6 bottles of Old Speckled Hen. Like you, I sometimes have a pork pie or a sausage roll. But crisps, they might as well sell em in a Captain Webb matchbox.

I totally agree with your post Padders, this what I believe to be a scam has been going on for years now, Mars bars, Milkyways, Topics ect used to be the size of house bricks, everything has been downsized and the prices remained the same and now even more exspensive due to the cost of living band wagon jumpers on and as for crisp, the amount in a pack are not enough to feed a Budgie or in this case a Parrot.
