Hold up what? Who on earth takes any  notice of The Stirs answer to Billy’s weekly liar……another blinkered fan who totally misses the point …. The point being that this episode only serves to add to Wednesdays woes…. Who ever heard of a shirt sponsor who apparently has insufficient funds to meet their contractual responsibilities and so allegedly dips into another company’s account to secretly payup! It’s called embarrassing and again under mr chancers watch….let’s see what the 21/22 accounts have to say providing they arrive at companies house by the due date of 31/7 /23…. Pop corn at the ready!

I can't see what swfc have wrong here to be honest.

Ha ha! Who said they had done something wrong or improper. The point surely being  that they are now tied in with a shirt sponsor whose leading light appears to have acted somewhat improperly in sending over £500k to his favourite football team without that companies knowledge. In addition according to the times additional money was also  transferred to Eyup . Does that not make fans feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. One of the reasons clubs engage with sponsors is not to suffer a pr disaster …. Make your Own mind up on that

just out of interest is it true that the David richards involved with eyup etal is the son of sir David richards the former Wednesday chairman etc etc?

Why would it make me embarrassed?

I am no fan of our owner but I fail to see the pile on regarding this.

Is he the son of Dave Richards?

Eyup (SWFCs main shirt sponsor) have got £1500 in total assets.

The owner is embroiled in financial investigations into the main company he is a major stakeholder in.

The word “fraud” is used frequently in news reports about Wandisco.

Wandiscos share value has tanked, all but wiping Richards paper wealth.

Chansiri quality due diligence to the fore yet again.

This is a story that isn’t finished yet by a long chalk…..

I feel uncomfortable that the owner thinks supporters are customers….&  that he caused the club to get relegated by his mis-management of the club’s finances…& that he didn’t pay players wages …& that he won’t accept criticism of his running of the club ..the list could go on and on ….but uncomfortable that the new shirt sponsor is having issues behind the scenes? ….nah …why would it ?

Look at the usual suspects trying to start a storm in a tea cup, the sponsorship deal was done and paid well before the problems with the sponsoring company emerged (this was in March this year) all the issues here are with Wandisco/Eyup not SWFC, Eyup only has £1.5k in assets as it's a start up company.

Keep trying though lads eh 🤣

Could be worse.

We could have sportswashing Saudi owners and borrow money from the Bin Ladens.

Its amusing to see United fans trying to take the moral high ground.

Or even use family money from an empire built on slave labour in the fish industry.

I expect you're going to try and say he hasn't used any family money, tell us if that's the case where is his money from?.

High ground indeed.
