You've just repeated what I responded to, most are not attacked for being straight white males, they are just attacked. Hate crimes have what is called aggravating circumstances, something extra. Your original argument was that people have additional rights - that’s not true. now you want to look at the number of prosecutions to evidence that people have different rights. Everyone has the same rights - if there are examples of white men being victims of hate crimes that were not prosecuted then that is wrong - are there any you are aware of? I wouldn’t have any problem with a white male who has been a victim of hate crime getting justice. you can’t use the absence of prosecution as evidence of different rights. do women have more rights in sexual abuse cases because there’s a disproportionate amount of women convicted of them then men? rights are rights - my personal view is that you probably don’t hear of as many white male cases cos they’re less prevalent - just my opinion - if they are just less reported then it hasn’t taken away their rights to do so.
