He does like to show off, as do most. It's telling though, that he has now changed tack and would be open to peace talks with Ukraine. It cannot sustain a fleet except in home waters and in the eastern Mediterranean. Its newest surface ships are designed to be small and fast for operation in the Arctic, Baltic, Black and Japan Seas. Its ability to build new big ships is doubtful, its newest and biggest ships were going to be French built-cancelled.
