City Taxis Lost Property: How Much Are 'Return Fees'?

2. COMMENCEMENT

2.1 The contact shall come into being at the moment the Driver Partner agrees personally with the Passenger to provide the Journey and shall terminate on completion of the Journey. Neither party shall owe the other any contractual obligations to the other relating to the Booking or Journey prior to or after that period save to the extent of payment still requiring to be made and reasonable steps to be taken by the Driver Partner to return lost property.

No mention there or anywhere else of a fee being levied. Have they actually told you if there is going to be a fee?

I know someone who  left a phone in a cab.    Got it back with no fees

its understandable, they have to drive here, but if its more than a tenner, might pass.

The only way you find out then is by ringing them to ask. It will likely be based on how much the fare would be from office to your home.

City Taxis is now a faceless almost national company, so I suspect this was back when it was a local concern that actually cared.
