I Just tried using a small comb. Works a treat. Thank you for that matey 👍

Now don't be giving them a quiff or styling their fur.  Wait a minute, you could start a new trend of pet hairdressing? 🙄😉🤣

Nature has given one of our cats a hairstyle I could never beat.

Without saying too much let's just say if he ever went missing I'd start looking for him in Poland 😬

Generally the fleas will be in the house by now, when we renovate houses we set traps to check for fleas etc.

Basically put a dish down with soapy water, place a empty glass jar upside down in the middle of the dish and place some sort of light on top of the jar we use led tea lights leave over night, surprisingly effective.

We use Frontline on both cats and both cats have managed to get fleas🙄

What's the best treatment you've found to rid your kitty of those horrible little blighters?

Frontline clearly isn't working for them so I need an alternative that will otherwise its a trip to the vet and I'm not looking forward to the 42 quid per cat prescription treatment?

Thanks in advance 👍

We had a similar experience with Frontline. I used it for a few years then it became less effective. Now we use Advantage, and various shops sell it online.

Getting rid of fleas in the house is a nightmare. I had an infestation a few years ago which took weeks to clear. I used the Indorex spray (pink tin, costs a fortune in Pets at Home), followed by a spray from the Green tin every couple of weeks. Blooming nightmare.

After treatment you really need to vacuum the house really well also getting the hoover tools in every nook and cranny.

Thanks for that. I went out and bought a new one as my old Hetty dosent suck like she used too and I want to make sure I get all the little buggers.

I'll give Advantage a go, thank you. As for getting rid of the fleas in the house I'm hoping the Indorex does the job.

As an aside, DONT BUY INDOREX FROM A VET.

27 Quid a can vs £11 online..

Talk about a markup.
