What I have is none of your business. If you are claiming its not normal for a business to continue trading whilst a buyer is found, then I give up.

Someone is touchy today. 🤣 The original list for closures did not mention Haymarket. B&M was announced as a buyer but it has just been announced that sale has fallen through. If the plan had gone ahead, it could have meant two B&Ms only doors apart from each other.

No it wouldn't because they were only buying "up to 51" from a Wilko stock of 400, and quite clearly they wouldn't have bought ones next to each other.

Ideally this will lead to a further demolition and redevelopment of the Castle Market site, Cuttsie will be thrilled.

So, on Haymarket we will have the current B&M and another B&M a few doors down?! B&M offers a different range to Wilko. Wilko offers a more comprehensive range for decorating, paint, chizzles etc and an a more stable range of products, whereas B&M tends to rely on clearance availability.

Sorry but what’s a chizzle?

Someone earlier mentioned opening the space up and connecting it to the Sheaf/Victoria Quays. It could make a nice park, there is enough space already. Sadly, it will probably become more "luxury" apartments. The question is will B&M stay there or move to Fargate/The Moor.
