If we were raised to display good manners,  we already speak to people we meet with respect but,  we don't need people with an agenda telling us what we must or should accept.

That's a job for personal responsibility and morals and not someone with a public loud hailer.

Why don't they just say what they want?

It's almost like they enjoy the complaining that they can't say something more than saying something that they want to say.

Yes, and no.  I have said........He makes it up as he goes along

 

He can always point to something he said on both sides of most issues!

 

He talks about being raised to "display good manners", too!

 

So I can only assume he gets into the sauce occasionally!

Ah... the old cultural appropriation paradox

 

Liberal: "we need to embrace and welcome all cultures to gain an appreciation etc."

 

Normal person: embraces another culture by learning how to cook dishes as an appreciation of another culture

 

Liberal: "you can't cook that because it's cultural appropriation! As an oppressor, any attempt to appreciate another culture is oppression because those people have been oppressed..."

 

Obviously, as has been stated, i don't think many Mexicans watch GBBO so i doubt the complaints came from the actual people are supposed to be offended.
