In a situation like that, there is no such thing as a "correct" decision" nor is there an "incorrect" one, People always look for someone to blame like you do with Covid, Ukraine and now with the fires. Whatever he did, someone would have said he was wrong which is why he has resigned. I feel sorry for the guy and would have made the same decision. And Yes you did lie. You said I hadn't watched an interview. I do know that lying is a hobby of yours though. And you are the unemployed bloke on benefits who tells others how to do their jobs.
