Absolute Madness - Pubs To Open Early On Sunday Morning

As it happened it turned out to be a waste of time opening the pubs early.  The women were supposed to be showing the real men's England team how it is done.  Perhaps they would have done better if they had a male manager like the winning Spanish team.  Still the madness continues and BBC Breakfast is showing young girls who want to become football players.  Instead of practising keepy uppies these young girls should be learning domestic skills such as ironing, sewing and cake baking.

There were reports the US women's team had caused a big fuss about not being paid the same as the men.  They got too big for their boots and are no longer the top dogs in the women's game.

You think so?  The pub at Killamarsh shown on local television did not look very busy and that was the home village of one of the players.  Paying staff to work earlier is an added expenditure which I doubt would have been recuperated by extra revenue.
