Why does the BBC having 100% black presenters and pundits matter?

Do you complain when Dancing on Ice has only white presenters, judges and skaters?

Maybe because.......

Across England and Wales, 82% of people identified with a White ethnic group, 9% with an Asian ethnic group, 4% with a Black ethnic group, 3% with Mixed or Multiple ethnic groups, and 2% with other ethnic groups. Go to section: Explore constituency data. Top 20 constituencies by ethnic group.....

It 'matters' insofar as if it were 100% white, there'd be an outcry about diversity and proportianal representation.

Surely if something is 'too white' you can argue the opposite is correct, too?

But it's one football show!

I dunno - maybe next week they'll have Alan Shearer and Mark Lawrenson on.

If the entire output of the BBC was only staffed and presented by one ethnicity, you'd have a point, but one football show... really?

One football show is too white / too black?

Does that include the players on the pitch too?

What 'powers-that-be' would that be?

The make-up London is what it is - no way can you change it without enforced segregation, which is totally unacceptable, and who says it is acceptable (or unacceptable)?

Which football show?

The BBC afternoon show which was hosted by Alex Scott on a Saturday.

Well... there was the outcry a while ago that the England Women's team was too white...
