FIRST BUS CHANGES FROM 3 SEPTEMBER IN SHEFFIELD 1a – Timetable change to improve punctuality 11 – Timetable change to improve punctuality 18 – Timetable change to improve punctuality 20 – Timetable change to improve punctuality 51 – Timetable change to improve punctuality 75/76 – Timetable change to improve punctuality 81/82 – Timetable change to improve punctuality 95/95a – Timetable change to improve punctuality 97/98 – Timetable change to improve punctuality 272 – Timetable change to improve punctuality - an additional service will operate between Sheffield and Castleton at 23:00 on Friday and Saturday only. (for the new timetable for this route visit the Derbyshire website https://derbysbus.info/) X1/X10 – Timetable change to improve punctuality X5 – Timetable change to improve punctuality Many of these changes will see a massive change to the style of service provision for South Yorkshire/ I understand that regularly spaced journies will be replaced by Journies aimed at known demand and could in some cases result in short gaps followed by long gaps. Buses will be given more time to complete their trips to compensate for the non functioning bus priority measures meaning that reliability should improve on the new services. Irene Swaine
The new services around Bamford and Crosspool are great for those of us living in the South West. It seems Hulley's are listening when we say we want later buses.

See, support for bus services is possible.

The council don’t subsidise bus services, as it’s a metropolitan area here. It is the responsibility of the mayoral combined authority.
