Thanks for that - all I asked for, really, although I'm expecting the usual Guardian moans.
Jack Grey
I don't believe a word Labour say All these policies they apparently have back tracked on will be implemented if they get into power British politics is moving so far to the left that we'll never see a conservative government ever again Because they all know that climate change and health are incredible vehicles for implementing stealth taxes The Tories are now a left wing party but Labour will say "Hold My Beer" Edited August 29, 2023 by Jack Grey

The current Conservative party is so far right it's only a stone's throw from fascism. All the hoo hah about climate change etc has been implemented by the Tory party for the simple reason they are the party in power, Labour has not had a say in anything for 13 years. All the stealth taxes, (and yes, you're right, we are paying more tax than ever before,) are the doings of the Tory party and no one else. At the same time they've managed to increase the national debt to it's highest ever level, while also cutting public services to the bone, ruining the lives of many. So where's the money gone? Bad Tory management or plain corruption. You decide...

What's right wing about this government? £500bn spent on COVID Locked people in their homes for the 'Greater Good' They're giving money out like it's growing on trees They are paying for 200,000 migrants to stay in hotels Theyve bent over for the unions The NHS has more money than ever They are crippling our economy with net zero And they've Raised taxes I'm sure I could add more Seems like a socialist government to me It's Corbyns wet dream Edited September 1, 2023 by Jack Grey

Locked people in their homes for the 'Greater Good' Some people have claimed that was a typical fascist step. They're giving money out like it's growing on trees Where and who to ? They are paying for 200,000 migrants to stay in hotels They are bound by international law to look after the basics. Theyve bent over for the unions You must be joking. They have got people to strike who have never, ever been on strike before. The NHS has more money than ever After 13 years of holding back money they should have had and now they are paying for the damage they've caused. They are crippling our economy with net zero Nearly agreed - they are definitely crippling the economy but nothing to do with net zero which is being slowly abandoned. And they've Raised taxes They certainly have. The highest taxes since WW2, proving that the Tories are the party of bad management. I'm sure I could add more Please do - it will all be easy enough to answer due to the most disastrous 13 tears of government that this country has ever seen. Seems like a socialist government to me Sounds like a right wing nut case government to me and the voters are going to prove it next year. It's Corbyns wet dream Corbyn's probably, like the rest of us, having a good laugh at the way they have painted themselves into a corner. Laurel & Hardy spring to mind. 1 hour ago, Al Bundy said: Don't be silly. Such a deep and well thought through comment which clearly explains the denial of Anna's comment. Is that more of a well thought out comment for you? The conservative government is not "far right" that's just another buzzword that's being thrown around by any opposition, I expected better from Anna.
