nick2
Did she use bacon in hers? I eat something similar (jam, peanut butter & apple/banana sandwiches on wholemeal bread with no butter or margarine) when I’m cycle touring and they are pretty nice as well as being quite a good energy dense, robust sandwich, I just can’t see how bacon would work with the rest of the flavours though. She didn't, no, it was peanut butter and banana in a sandwich, fried in butter.

Draggletail
Well I have to report that my little 1 year old son just had his first 'nana sandwich (with a little touch of honey) and it was a big hit. He scoffed it double quick time and threw none at the dog for a change
rubydazzler
delish, in fact I just love bananas, especially the ones with the brown spotty skins ... lovely and ripe and mushy ... in bread and butter, or toast, with blackcurrant jam or honey, with custard, with cream ... let's hear it for bananas!!
