just_words Posted February 10, 2011 Share Posted February 10, 2011 Whilst feeding my baby son slices of banana today, a long forgotten memory came up. Banana sandwiches. My mum used to give me them when I was little. I'll be damned if I've ever seen anyone else eating them - was my mum having a laugh Did you ever have banana sandwiches, or any other 'odd' sandwich? I always had them, with a small sprinkling of sugar on. I've also had some strange looks from others later on in life though, until they try them that is! Chips dipped in custard is my favorite! We sliced the bananas into rings for the banana and milk afters and sliced them lengthways for sandwiches. :love: I still sometimes have a banana sandwich for lunch, but not had bananas with milk since the kids were toddlers.
