It says the busgate is to improve times.

Really it doesn't improve times, and that's not the problem anyway.

 

I was in Shanghai last week and travelled for a week around the city, and the most expensive ticket I bought was 4 CNY, about 43p. and that's the underground, fast, clean, every 3 minutes.

 

 

Even cars here are almost all electric. (or certainly hybrid)

 

See this video where my friend who lives here was telling me how electric cars are cheap, easy to buy and cheap to run.

I would have posted where I live, but although the same price, they are every 7 minutes, which seems so slow now.
