Apparently it was in The Mail, so it's probably ( hopefully ) complete BS. Hecky has done wonders when you consider the obstacles placed in his way. Last season a transfer embargo and a ridiculous court case hanging over two players, plus long term injuries. This season two major players leaving at the last minute, both loanees returning to their club before managing to get one back at the death. Having to field teams with players who hadn't played together before and basically have a preseason during the actual league season when every game counts.

And during all that time uncertainty hanging over the future ownership of the club. Hecky needs to be supported.

Wilder was great for us for a few seasons and that is appreciated, but he completely lost the run of himself and let himself down at the end of his time here.

Given his attitude and comments toward the end of his time with us I'd think it is journalistic made up click bait.

The rules are being set to benefit the bigger teams, VAR can influence things from off the field and the allowance of extra subs and these ridiculous amounts of added time favour the teams with bigger/better squads, I despise the Premier League.

For once you and I are in complete agreement. The bias is blatant, nothing to do with us, it's the same for any club not owned by billionaires or states.

They want an ' Elite League ' no relegation no promotion just like the American NFL model.  That way they can't lose, it's just a money churning pit.

Normally it's upsetting to get relegated, but given the circumstances does it really matter that much?

The Saudi state is a big part of the states mentioned .

Americans own 10 teams in the premier league according to Sky.

How many do Saudis own?.

American ownership is worrying. They will be looking to try to install the NFL model. No relegation, no promotion a closed shop money churning machine.

Once they have a majority of American owners they'll resurrect the European league idea in some shape or form.

Do the ten include the new Everton owners or does that make it eleven, which would be over 50% ?
