Sunak : Nett Zero But In A 'More Proportionate' Way

I am simply pointing out again what I did in a post back in January.

That people support Nett Zero till it starts affecting them negatively, and that the YouGuv poll is meaningless as it just asked Motherhood & Apple Pie questions.

I see.

You are repeating yourself and making stuff up to suit your agenda.

That’s not like you.

Funnily enough you're repeating yourself, and making stuff up, by saying I am.

You've  along way to go but if you keep trying you may even approach HeHasRisen in the trolling stakes.....

I haven't made anything up . Tell me, what exactly do you think I have made up ?

Lastly, I note even you have given up trying to argue against Sunak's policy on here because you know you would have limited support. On here, but even less out there, in the real world.

Sunak doesn’t have a policy.

He’s abandoned a non existent meat tax and made a bizarre claim about the seven holy bins of somewhere or other.

Apart from that, he’s done some crap electioneering and made it more difficult for firms to plan for a cleaner future.

I’m not exactly surprised that you were impressed by a man inventing a load of non existent taxes and then “abolishing” them.

>>"crap electioneering"<<

You mean giving people a genuine choice at the ballot box ?

But I think I've heard of that concept before.

Oh yes ! It's called d-e-m-o-c-r-a-c-y.....

>>a load of non existent taxes<<

Are you seriously saying that nett zero at any cost, had no cost ?

And on the subject of taxes, how are you defining "tax" ?

What about ULEZ, is that a tax ?

If someone is forced by the government to have a heat pump rather than a gas boiler, it may not technically be a tax, but many people would quibble over if that really mattered.

There you go again, inventing things I haven’t said.

You asked for my opinions on Sunak’s  “policy”  I gave it to you. It was a nonsense of an announcement.

Are you happy that he’s abolished a variety of non-existent taxes?

Do you know what rate the chicken tax was going to be set at?

And the net zero people have NOT stopped posting as childish Checky thinks.

I and a few more are still here.

The thread has just been diverted to be about trolling idiots  like him instead,  who can't cope with the world anyway..

I do wish the mardy arse would finally stop crying.

blame Labour for things that the Tories have done.

TBH he wouldn't be that far wrong on that.

The worst thing for this country and the economy was suppressing society for a virus 99% of people were surviving and which had an average age of death in the early 80s.

We spent £400 billion doing it and it stoked inflation which we are now paying for.

And Labour not only supported all of it they actually wanted even more of it !

Starmer himself boasted that it was Labour driving it all !
