Hey back, Cressy. 🤗

Sadly, no. I know Harleyman was in Southern California (I believe he was banned) and buck was/is in Connecticut which is about as far from California as you can get.  I hope they're both doing ok.

It is a badge of honour to have been banned under the previous management !

I certainly will, Cressy. I think the previous incarnation of the forum didn't much like Americans, or anyone else who disagreed with them. Failing to understand they should be proud that the wonderful people of Sheffield make this forum such an appealing place for us yanks. And Harleyman and buck were both expats!

Thank you for your nice words. I'm around now and again. 😊

More accurate.....

I don't understand this. How can you moderate a forum if you constantly censor/ban anyone who's views you don't like? Eventually you won't need to moderate things because there won't be anyone left.

Is it just me, and all my mates, who have noticed that women are much more bothered about Christmas and birthdays than men are ?

Why is that ?

And is the fact there appears to be such  huge difference the cause of much of the friction at those times ?

I think generally women are more emotionally caring and empathetic than men. Not in every instance but generally.

Prob has something to do with it.

I'll tell you something else different about women, they always want to talk about a decision, e.g. are we going to XYZ tomorrow. Whereas, assuming it isn't something I have particularly strong feelings about one way or the other, I'd far rather they just tell me what they want to do and I'll do that !

If the boot is on the other foot so to speak, and us men particularly want to do something, again, they want to talk about it ad infinitum......
