Mister M Posted October 3, 2023 Share Posted October 3, 2023 (edited) I've often thought about this, particularly because of the cost of living crisis where most of are trying to cut back. Most of the goods that I buy are supermarket's own brand, which in many cases are just as good as the branded products. In fact, I think Lidl's own yoghurts are nicer than those of Muller or Onken. I think the only exception I can think of is washing powder. I once used Aldi's own washing powder, and ended up with a terrible rash on my body, and had to chuck the powder in the bin. From then on I've stuck to Daz, which what I always used. Other than that, I can only think of Johnson's baby shampoo, and Colgate toothpaste, oh and Sanex soap too, where I always prefer branded stuff.
